Interim Agile Coach (SAFe) (m/w/d)
As an Agile Coach, you will play a crucial role in guiding teams and organizations through their agile transformation journey. Your primary focus will be on coaching and empowering teams to adopt agile methodologies, implement best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will serve as a mentor, facilitator, and change agent, supporting teams in embracing agile principles and practices to deliver high-quality products and services efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Coaching: Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to agile teams, including scrum masters, product owners, and development teams, to help them understand and implement agile principles, practices, and ceremonies effectively.
- Agile Methodology Adoption: Assist teams in selecting and implementing appropriate agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean, based on their specific needs and context, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Facilitation: Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure they are conducted effectively and deliver value to the team.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within teams by facilitating retrospectives, conducting root cause analysis, and identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams, to promote agile principles and practices and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Training and Education: Deliver training sessions, workshops, and educational programs on agile methodologies, frameworks, and best practices to build agile competency and capability within the organization.
- Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and resolve impediments that may arise within agile teams, promoting open communication, collaboration, and teamwork to overcome challenges and achieve goals.
- Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of agile practices and track progress towards organizational goals, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Community Building: Foster a sense of community among agile practitioners within the organization, facilitating knowledge sharing, best practice exchange, and cross-team collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Certified Agile Coach (CAC) or equivalent certification in agile coaching (e.g., Certified Scrum Coach, ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching).
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring agile teams in a variety of contexts, preferably in the technology or software development industry.
- Deep understanding of agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, with expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent coaching, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to embrace agile values and principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes and continuous improvement through agile practices and principles.
