Interim Commercial Excellence Consultant (m/w/d)
As a Commercial Excellence Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the commercial performance of our organization by providing strategic insights, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across sales, marketing, and customer service functions. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing revenue growth, maximizing profitability, and improving overall business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine commercial strategies aligned with business objectives, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Sales Effectiveness: Analyze sales processes, pipeline management, and sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
- Marketing Optimization: Evaluate marketing campaigns, customer segmentation, and lead generation efforts to optimize marketing spend, increase ROI, and drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Customer Experience Enhancement: Assess customer journey touchpoints, satisfaction levels, and feedback mechanisms to identify opportunities for enhancing the overall customer experience and loyalty.
- Pricing and Revenue Management: Analyze pricing strategies, discounting practices, and revenue streams to optimize pricing models, improve margin performance, and drive revenue growth.
- Data Analytics and Insights: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvement initiatives across commercial functions, streamlining workflows, eliminating inefficiencies, and enhancing cross-functional collaboration.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and implementation of commercial excellence initiatives, driving cultural transformation and organizational alignment.
- Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and support to sales, marketing, and customer service teams to enhance their skills, capabilities, and effectiveness in executing commercial strategies.
- Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and benchmarks to measure the success and impact of commercial excellence initiatives, providing regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial excellence, sales operations, or consulting roles, with a focus on driving business growth and performance improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, extract insights, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
