eCommerce Solution Specialist (m/w/d)
As an Interim Ecommerce Solution Architect, you will be responsible for evaluating and selecting the most suitable ecommerce platform that aligns with our business case and objectives during this transitional period. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure the successful adoption of the chosen platform within the interim timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Case Evaluation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the ecommerce market entry strategy and objectives.
- Platform Evaluation: Assess and compare various ecommerce platforms, considering factors such as functionality, scalability, flexibility, cost, and user experience.
- Vendor Selection: Identify potential ecommerce platform vendors and partners, and evaluate their offerings and capabilities.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business units to define and document ecommerce platform requirements.
- Solution Design: Create a high-level solution design that outlines the selected ecommerce platform's architecture and components.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration of the chosen platform with existing systems and applications within the interim timeframe.
- Governance and Standards: Establish governance and standards for the ecommerce platform implementation.
- Recommendation: Make recommendations on the best ecommerce platform based on thorough evaluation and analysis within the interim period.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform evaluations, recommendations, and architecture within the interim timeframe.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on ecommerce trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Ecommerce Solution Architect or similar role.
- Broad knowledge of ecommerce platforms, including but not limited to Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, and others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Language: Englisch, German
Duration: 3 months, with the option for extension
