Agile Transformation Expert (SAFe) (m/w/d)
As the Agile Transformation Expert specializing in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for our organization, you will lead the implementation of agile methodologies and practices to drive organizational agility, improve productivity, and accelerate delivery. Your expertise in SAFe will play a pivotal role in guiding our organization through the transformation process, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive agile transformation strategy based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), tailored to the specific needs and objectives of our organization.
- SAFe Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAFe practices, principles, and roles across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.
- Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching to agile teams, scrum masters, product owners, and other stakeholders on SAFe principles, practices, and ceremonies to support effective adoption and implementation.
- Team Enablement: Enable agile teams to self-organize, collaborate effectively, and deliver high-quality products and services by fostering a culture of transparency, empowerment, and accountability.
- Continuous Improvement: Facilitate retrospectives, inspect and adapt workshops, and other agile ceremonies to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous learning and improvement.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with executive leadership, department heads, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for the agile transformation initiative, addressing any barriers or resistance to change.
- Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of the agile transformation, providing regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
- Community Building: Foster a sense of community among agile practitioners within the organization, facilitating knowledge sharing, best practice exchange, and cross-team collaboration.
- SAFe Governance: Establish governance mechanisms and frameworks to ensure adherence to SAFe principles and practices, including release planning, program increments, and value stream mapping.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent certification in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Proven experience leading agile transformations and implementing SAFe practices in large organizations, preferably in the technology or software development industry.
- Strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and DevOps, with expertise in applying SAFe principles at scale.
- Excellent coaching, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence change at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive cultural change.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes and continuous improvement through agile practices and principles.
