Product Owner ERP / PMO (m/w/d)
Company Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Interim ERP Product Owner to join our team and play a pivotal role in the implementation of a new ERP system for one of our valued customers. This position is temporary and will involve working closely with the project management office team to ensure the successful deployment of the ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies, ERP systems, and business processes, enabling them to guide the project effectively.
Position Overview: As an Interim ERP Product Owner, you will serve as the link between the customer's business needs and the development team responsible for implementing the ERP system. Your role will be to define and prioritize features and functionality, ensuring alignment with business goals, and facilitating efficient project execution within an agile framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with the customer's stakeholders to understand their business processes, needs, and objectives.
- Product Vision: Develop a clear product vision and roadmap for the ERP implementation, considering the customer's long-term goals.
- Agile Methodologies: Apply agile principles to manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure the delivery of incremental value to the customer.
- User Story Creation: Define and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements for the ERP system.
- Backlog Prioritization: Continuously prioritize and refine the product backlog based on changing business needs and feedback from stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and business analysts to ensure successful implementation and alignment with project objectives.
- Testing and Validation: Oversee the testing and validation of ERP system features to ensure they meet customer requirements and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and effective communication with all project stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing concerns.
- Change Management: Support the customer in managing organizational change and ensuring a smooth transition to the new ERP system.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in ERP system implementations.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration into business processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic project environment.
- Relevant certifications in agile or ERP systems is a plus.
Duration: This position is temporary and will align with the project timeline, lasting until the successful implementation of the ERP system. About 6-12 months.
